It is considered to be the precursor to the modern nation of Azrune, although technically a number of claimants arose during and after the Collapse (for example, the somewhat short-lived Eastern Azrune Empire). Importantly, however, none besides the modern state was able to gain legitimate or enforcible claim upon Nubylon, the Unation's eternal capital.
