The Collapse was an event, spread over many years, in which the global nation of Old Azrune fell apart. Although much of the breakaway process led to bloodshed, some of the secessions and rebellions were resolved peacefully. The breakdown of structure resulted in a number of wars between the successor states that largely obliterated the old Gold Age infastructure across the majority of the world.
