Transpulse, also known sometimes as Longpulse, is the primary method of long-distance wireless communication. It has near-enough unlimited range, but messages can only be sent in the form of ponderous binary signals, so Transpulse is used for writing telegrams as opposed to transmitting quick battle manoeuvres.

The messages are transmitted using neutrinos. While this allows them to bypass almost all interference, the difficulty of capturing neutrinos results in a very large data redundancy, thereby reducing the effective data bandwidth.

The technology was pioneered by the Maroni and is often associated with them.
