The Auto-altitude Cabriolet, better known as the Autocab, is a common vehicle in Azimuth's cities. They typically carry 1-4 people and move most efficiently on the horizontal plane. Autocabs are generally cheap to run as their weight is carried by a floatrock element.
Workings
An autocab is essentially a very small powered island, utilising floatrock to maintain altitude and maneuvering engines to navigate prospekts and other sky-routes. Autocabs are generally able to make vertical adjustments, but these are power-hungry and slow. Therefore most urban areas aim to have a minimal number of street levels.
